This 1,900 SF Tribeca loft was once the studio of painter Barnett Newman. Abundant daylight fills the space. To craft a home for a family with a young child within this historic loft required sensitivity and ingenuity. Operable prismatic glass panels, with custom mahogany and bronze inserts, configure to create either dramatic openness or total privacy. A state-of-the-art cook’s kitchen and spa-like bathrooms make this space equally suited for dramatic entertaining and intimate daily living. Photos © Peter Aaron/Esto.
