SAY Studio designed the new AIG (American International Group) head offices in Dubai’s Financial Centre using a cool palette with a backdrop of charcoals, timber and concrete.
A predominantly monochromatic background is speckled with occasional pops of primary colour in striking blue and yellow in the furniture and accessories, adding an element of surprise to the interior. By introducing a splash of colour, this entirely open plan office is separated into defined departmental neighbourhoods.
The design of the office space has been developed to maximize the benefit of the employees from sunlight. Large windows allow plenty of light to flood the open plan workspaces with clever architectural partitioning, and acoustic baffles subdividing the area into smaller activity zones and a reception.
