Arté Mont Kiara (MK) designed by SPARK for Nusmetro is a 200,000㎡ development that comprises two residential towers and a hotel. A sculpted landmark for the threshold to Kuala Lumpur’s new metropolis district.
Arté MK is a unique expression and transformation of the “local” standard residential typology. The pragmatic organisation of the residential towers is complemented by a series of ribs that provide the 60storey buildings with a total of 1600 various sized units into a single homogeneous form: The ribs form a “friction ridge” pattern of the client’s thumb print with loops, whorls and arches.
The aluminum ribs manipulate the tower envelopes radically transforming their appearance via the unique variation in shapes created by the relationship of the ribs to one another.
The 7-storey podium is similarly shrouded with horizontal fins massaging the pragmatic functions into an organic exuberant expression of arrival.
Resident services at Arté MK include round-the-clock concierge, housekeeping, florist, 24-hour in-residence catering. Amenity clubs feature lounges, game rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a 35metre swimming pool, a business suite, and screening rooms.
Arté MK has become a landmark for KL and used as a backdrop for many regional advertising campaigns.
Arté MK looks especially wonderful at dusk, when its iridescent illuminated ribs reach to the stars.
