was a member of the design team for the recently-completed expansion of the
ballroom and meeting rooms at the Kansas City Convention Center. The
project, which has attained a LEED Silver rating, spans the interstate highway
at the south portion of the downtown freeway loop and is attached to the
existing conference center. The new building has been well-received by
both the client and potential users. Its expanded facilities give Kansas City a
competitive edge in attracting a wide range of new users to the newly
revitalized downtown.
