Biogen’s G.C.C. offices reflect their identity in a fun space that helps dedicated people to care deeply, work fearlessly and change lives.
Since their founding in 1978 as one of the world’s first global biotechnology companies, Biogen has led innovative scientific research with the goal to defeat devastating neurological diseases.
Biogen approached SAY Studio for the design of their G.C.C. offices in Dubai. For their new office, they were looking for a fun space that encouraged collaboration, flexibility and choice of workstyles within the office. They wanted a space that supported the general activities of their business, which fell outside of a typical office.
Laboratory research is the essence of Biogen. The Dubai office does not have laboratory spaces, but inspiration from microtiter plates, microscopic views, testubes and flasks provide visual cues to link the space to lab elements. A neutral and earthly palette grounds the space. This vibrant, interactive space serves as a highly flexible and technology-enabled work environment.
