Bread & Butter bar is a space for informal meetings in the office of one of the largest production companies of Ukraine - "Myronivskyi Hliboprodukt".
During the day, you can meet colleagues for lunch and hastily discuss business, and in the evening, order cocktails and dance to the rhythms of light music. It became a real challenge for the architects to disassemble the space of the hall and reassemble it. This was necessary in order to create the desired set of volumes and shapes in the interior.
"Waves" in the area of the bar are one of the main design solutions that set the dynamics of the completely white space. Each rail on the wall and bar was made according to individual drawings developed specifically for this project. All lighting in the interior was made in Serhiy Makhn's ceramic workshop. A new format of original handmade ceramics appears here - futuristic forms of lamps under the ceiling and panels-plates on the walls, which also serve as illumination.
Despite the fact that all the lighting was made by hand, all the surfaces are perfectly flat, without any mistakes. In order to achieve such an effect, ceramists worked for a long time with the consistency of clay, improving the form and glazing objects.
DIDO ceramic sculptures are bar guardian giants. Here, our designers chose heroes named ISHO - these guys don't ask too many questions. They were sculpted by hand and fired in the workshop's largest furnaces measuring 100*100*1800 mm.
