Chambers is Rockwell Group's first ground-up building in New York City. The design concept for the hotel was inspired by the cultural and commercial offerings of its surrounding midtown Manhattan neighborhood. The lobby was designed to create an intimate, residential feeling, as if stepping into the townhouse of a private art collector. The hotel represents a juxtaposition of uptown and downtown, refined and industrial. The hotel features an extensive art collection that was curated by Rockwell Group in conjunction with the owner and Museum Editions.
