Creative Force
The Creative Force pavilion was designed as an exhibition space for the Atlantic Real Estate event in Mar del Plata, celebrating seventeen years of Moirë Arquitectos’ dedication to innovation and excellence.
Envisioned as a balance between subtlety and boldness, the pavilion transcends mere functionality, standing as both a visual landmark and a conceptual manifesto.
From the outside, the pavilion appears as a monochromatic structure with pure, white surfaces—a deliberate contrast to the vibrant stands surrounding it. This striking juxtaposition not only sets it apart as a focal point but also reinforces its identity as an independent, almost sculptural object.
The interplay between the exterior and interior is a cornerstone of the design. Slightly elevated from the ground, the pavilion features a horizontal void that invites curiosity. This opening offers glimpses of its interior, sparking intrigue and enticing visitors to step inside and explore further.
Within its walls, the pavilion transforms into a space of introspection. The interior is finished in matte black, creating a striking contrast with the exterior and placing full focus on the exhibition: a curated collection of photographs and 3D-printed models that narrate the studio’s journey and design philosophy. This duality between the white exterior and the dark, contemplative interior establishes a dialogue that elevates the experience of the space.
Meticulously designed with a modular system, the pavilion embodies flexibility and precision. Its construction allows for seamless assembly, disassembly, and relocation, making it adaptable to diverse contexts without compromising its architectural essence. This reconfigurable nature underscores its role as a traveling exhibition that extends Moirë Arquitectos’ vision to new audiences.
Creative Force is more than an ephemeral gallery; it is a tangible expression of Moirë Arquitectos’ commitment to pushing boundaries. It is a space where architecture, art, and emotion converge, redefining the possibilities of contemporary exhibition design.
