The kitchen has been adapted from a service room into a space with specific features related to its user. Thus, the project is strictly linked to owner’s wishes. Those needs lead us to think to a simple, clean, practical place, as well as a sophisticate and dynamic one.As kitchen units it has been chosen Twenty model by Modulnova, with glass doors and white Kerlite top. The kitchen sink, made in Kerlite, fits a mixer tap by Barazza, the same company selected for the 4 burners. In the main unit is fitted an unseen Rex washdisher. The Kerlite, cotto d’este, used in white colour for kitchen top, is also used for the floor, where the tiles 19.7 X 19.7inch made in grey Kerlite, over road line, replace the actual floor. The wall in front of the kitchen is covered by chestnut foils (Juglans nigra L.), which is tipical of the center and north-east area of the United States and of the east part of Canada. The coffered ceiling has been used to modify the lighting system which is inserted in a new plasterboard false ceiling which fits unseen lights by buzzi e buzzi, using Ecla and Elios models. The sprinklers were repositioned to the center of the room ensuring the fire safety standards.
