Winner of an architecture competition, our consortium (Agence Spatiale + BGLA) was selected for the redevelopment and expansion of the Beloeil library, now called Espace culturel Aurèle-Dubois. The new program aims to equip this cultural space with professional, multidisciplinary facilities dedicated to the dissemination of arts and culture. The project includes creation, production, and dissemination spaces specifically designed for children and youth, while optimizing the use of available areas through intelligent shared space, thus fostering greater synergy between the various partners.
Like a grand pathway connecting the park and the river, the project features a central, structured route that ensures a smooth organization of the various functions in the program. The concept aspires to create numerous encounters: with the urban environment and the park, with the heart of the project, with others, with knowledge, and ultimately, with the grandeur of the surrounding landscape.
