A pavilion for two people to be built out of masonry units, whole or altered. By creating a brick “wedge” and forming it into a cluster of four, the brick is able to perform in ways not characteristic of a standard brick. The aim was to use methods of hinging to start from a single unit to create a form, rather than to determine the form first and work down to a unit. Angles were tested and resulted in three rotating planes to form inhabitable spaces for two bodies.
