The project is an architectural and urban concept of "Five Corners Square" in Warsaw, Poland. The authors of the proposal focus on restoring the space for pedestrians to create new attractive quality in the city.
The idea of the project is to emphasize the integrity of the site with the surrounding buildings. The designers make linear offset from the five building corners to symbolize the longitudinal acoustic waves, which affect on the plaza and create melody of space.
Buildings can be interpreted also as "musical instruments" in the urban space which impact with their vibrations and sounds on the surroundings. The use of the previously mentioned offsets has also other task. It outlines in ground level historical paths and routes. The proposed solution create a coherent and mysterious place, which is a cultural hub for the city centre area.
