For its collaboration
with Italian hardware company Valli & Valli, a simple, elegant door handle was
designed that provides a visual clue to the overall design. The shape of the
handle is a single bold stroke that implies the motion required to operate it.
The twisting shape morphs from a cylinder to an ellipse to comfortably
accommodate the hand while announcing the function-completion year 2005
