The Hôtel Château Laurier Québec is a third-generation family business specializing in the art of hospitality.
As part of updating their image, we designed a new lobby that is both welcoming and functional for guests and staff alike. The mandate included both the design of the space and the expansion of the reception and administrative areas.
The team decided to enlarge the canopy of the main entrance and install a revolving door at its center, ensuring smoother circulation. Beneath the canopy, luminous tiles display a pattern directly inspired by the hotel’s logo, a well-integrated signage element.
To create a multifunctional space, a meeting room was removed to make way for a spacious work area that features a wine bar and an extensive library. The library was reimagined to act as a buffer against the hustle and bustle of travelers’ comings and goings.
In this chic black-and-white décor, touches of blue reflect the establishment's environmentally responsible values. The design brings a sense of modernity to the space while maintaining the timeless, classic elegance of the Hôtel Château Laurier Québec.
