Intuit sought a new development centre that would delight while providing a state-of-the-art engineering center. Gensler’s cabin-less design emphasizes equality in innovation and begins to strip away the traditional hierarchy. Through materials, textures and layered technology, Intuit’s brand identity is interwoven with local textiles and fabrics to connect employees with the company’s numerous sectors and scales. Amenities of this new LEED Platinum building—including cafés, fitness and gaming facilities, a tech bar, “Innovation Hub” and conference facilities—are positioned as bookends to three of the seven floors. Collaborative hubs on each floor create interactive opportunities and demonstrate the value Intuit increasingly places on its staff.
