PARKLIN Hill Cove, designed by RLP, is located in Zhuhai. It is a one-stop large-scale key health care project integrating home services, professional management, professional nursing, entertainment and recreation. Based on the concept of people-oriented, the designer took the harbour as the design theme and integrated the wave element into the overall shape of the building, hoping to build an ideal harbour for the elderly to support their lives.
The designer designed three types of units for this project, and set up a professional nursing space (Unit-Care) for the elderly who need long-term care, providing intimate and efficient professional care. The walls of the rooms are mainly wood grain, light green and white; the soft furnishings are mainly bright colours such as bright yellow and orange to create a warm and dynamic living atmosphere.
We hope that this community is not only a retirement housing project, but also a brand-new, fashionable and elegant living space specially built for the elderly in the Greater Bay Area. Therefore, based on the needs and behavioural psychological characteristics of the elderly, the designer equipped the space layout with a full range of customized smart devices and furniture suitable for the elderly - such as home identification system, AI whole house intelligent system, barrier-free bathroom, non-slip floor , anti-dizzy lighting, emergency call system, etc. We believe that our series of humanized aging-friendly designs can enable the elderly to enjoy an independent, respected, healthy and worry-free life.
