Our strategy creates a variety of typologies and spaces for the museum, school, and housing. The Bydelshuset (neighbourhood house) consists of a disparate array of activities that are interconnected in a chain-like way. The different activities of the Rock Music museum have been separated from another and arranged in a vertical configuration that works well in the flat landscape of the Musicon site. All galleries are surrounded by an abundance of open space, creating a building that is as much about being outside as inside. The Højskolen (high school) consists of two distinct floors that are connected by a light-filled central atrium.
