Located on a steep, heavily wooded site in the Rocky Mountains, this 8,000 square foot house of stone and glass extends into the landscape to give the impression of a re-inhabited ruin, found in the wilds. A bridge over a ravine leads to the front door of the five-bedroom house, from where a terraced corridor leads down to the primary public spaces. The children's wing at one end is answered by the parent's bedroom in the tower and the husband's office at the summit.
