Sculpture is the branch of the visual arts that operates in three dimensions. It is one of the plastic arts; 3D visualization of our thoughts and feelings. I created several statues mostly made of Corten Metal and Tinfoil. Sense of brutalism is astonishing in this material to release your emotions. Occasionally, these works are tied with literal concepts and poems of Iranian culture.
However, some are based my personal experiences of various moods. "Frustrated Face" is my latest job in this field which its initial concepts is inspired of one of the most exquisite lines of one of the greatest poets of the Orient, Rumi. The main structure of the poem is in connection with the internal transformation of love with lover. Despite of all ups and downs, and joys and difficulties, in the end, true love leads to a yellow face of lover. I designed this creature in 2014 and it is under construction right now. Its height is in 102cm and almost 100 kg from Corten Metal.
