Roland Berger is a global consultancy firm with over fifty offices in the world. The company forges a start up culture where an eclectic mix of people would work by ideals of diversity, inclusivity and open exchange. Located over two floors, the design of Roland Berger’s new office is driven by their design guidelines, which has been developed for the company and the value system it holds.
The office zones are divided into four types: to Arrive - A welcome space for brand promotion, to Connect - Areas such as corridors, phone booths, toilets which connects other zones, to Create - Functional & efficient meeting, teamspace equipped with whiteboards with ergonomic furniture, and to Recharge - Playful & creative spaces like coffee lounges, food corner & Games room.
The Arrive spaces set the tone for a positive and efficient start to the workday. A welcoming and professional reception space that provides a warm first impression, with high-quality finishes, clear branding, and efficient welcome processes. The entrance experience creates a smooth transition from outside to inside with intuitive signage, comfortable seating, and amenities such as a coffee bar.
The Create spaces facilitate focused and innovative work through dedicated spaces and resources. Workstations are ergonomic and equipped with the necessary tools and technology for individual tasks. The offices offer a variety of work settings, including closed offices and specialized areas for creative tasks. Finally, technology supports seamless work processes, with access to high-speed internet, collaborative software, and advanced audiovisual equipment.
The Connect spaces enhance collaboration and communication among team members and with clients. A range of meeting spaces, from formal boardrooms to informal huddle rooms, equipped with advanced technology and comfortable seating. Client Interaction Spaces create welcoming areas for client meetings and presentations, featuring professional yet comfortable furnishings and technology for effective communication.
The Recharge spaces provide spaces where employees can relax and rejuvenate to maintain overall well-being and productivity. The Food Lounge creates a relaxing space with comfortable seating, light refreshments, and soothing décor. These spaces offer a retreat from work tasks and encourage relaxation. The relax and retreat space allow employees to take a break from the hustle and unwind in a peaceful environment. Additionally, the games room supports physical activity, wellness, and stress relief.
