Set in the heart of the fashion district, Salvage marries the old with the new in an exciting new bar in Downtown Los Angeles. Almost all of the surfaces and fixtures were custom created using remnants from the existing 1920's building and it's recent renovation. Molds of the intricate bronze elevator doors (which have become the bartop) were used to make the cocktail tables. Brick was revealed through many layers of plaster to achieve a "burnt-out" Chateau feel on the largest smoking patio in Downtown. All of the light fixtures were custom designed and fabricated by Solomon Mansoor, the visionary behind many of the details and finishes present in the space.
