Sharon Hills-Continuing Care Retirement Center
Sharon Hills is a continuing care retirement community that offers luxury retirement living in a contemporary, campus-like setting for today’s active adults. Situated on 337 wooded acres, Sharon Hills consists of 624 high-end one- and two-bedroom residences and a 40-bed skilled nursing / assisted living center. The building plan utilizes a cluster design concept of six, eight-story residential buildings fronting on a landscaped village green. The complex features valet and underground parking.
Amenities include a central clubhouse featuring multiple-venue dining rooms, retail shops, a ballroom, a nondenominational chapel, a wellness center and pool, and a childcare center for inter-generational experiences. Outdoor areas feature extensive landscaping and walking and biking trails, terraces, and shaded verandas, in addition to four par-3 golf links. Other landscape features include wandering gardens, roofed terraces, and gardening areas for residents to grow and tend their own flowers and vegetables.
Other facilities include a 10,000-square-foot maintenance building, a waste water treatment and storm water management facility, a central mechanical utility building, a fire substation, and a water tower/pump house.
The developer has deeded 286 acres of the site to the town, restricting its use and preserving its natural state.
