Wujiang Taihu New Town Software Park Complex Building is the first building completed in the park, with the construction area of 41808 m2, 20 floors and 1 floor underground, and a building height of 96 meters. The function includes the service rooms for the software park and platforms for the agglomeration of software start-ups. Our design aims to provide space for their integration and collision.
There is the wide shoreline of Taihu Lake in the west of the building. At the same time, there is also a busy highway in the west, which interferes with the noise of cars in the building. We have designed two shared space units on the west side of floors 9 to 10 and floors 17 to 19. People can fully experience the integration of the open space of the outdoor lake and the shared space indoor. The shared space is located between the highway noise and the east office, which effectively isolates the disadvantages and realizes the effective transformation of the advantages and disadvantages. This is something happening in the air.
The shared space running through different floors has become an important spatial means for us to realize the cross-border collision of employees in different floors and offices. Many small, medium-sized and micro innovative enterprises will settle in this building. Their full communication and collision will provide unlimited opportunities and possibilities for their respective development and growth. At the same time, it will also give birth to a steady stream of cross-border new ideas, new contents and new achievements for the software industry.
The vertical transportation system in the shared space extends from the interior to the outside of the building. The building facade follows the changes of the shared space and correspondingly concave or convex, as if something always happens in the air.
