This sport palace project is situated next to Hardbrücke, the west tangent above the train tracks field in Zürich West.The volume's cantilevers emphasize on one side the entrance at street level as an extension of the space under the bridge, on the other side the new train station. Attached to the public transportation streams, the building allows an infrastructure exchange on 3 different levels: city level, bridge level and train station level.The façades are the diagrammatic result of the circulation system, the program organization and the structure. Sport activities are taking place in the big in-between spaces, the translucent floors are hosting the secondary programs.
