With our client's wish to pay homage to a secret garden that once occupied the site, it became our missions to let nature take its course for what would become The Springfield. Greenery rises upwards with every level, evoking flowing and spacious private gardens throughout the homes.
Moments of verdant foliage can be found across the building, modulating in size while forming a living buffer that enlivens its residents' enjoyment of privacy within the urban landscape.
An Australian material palette comprised of natural timbers and stones has inspired a timeless design. Adding international influences, warm neutrality and modernity is provided by using the materials with respect and purity. This allows each home to symbolise its residents' unique tastes, background and influences.
Considered execution floods every living area with light, filling the open and abundant spaces throughout the day, and creating entirely distinct occasions and experiences. The internal living areas and leafy outside terraces engage one another through large double glazed walls.
Deep planters provide a connection with nature as well as shade while the ground floor terraces are planted with large trees. Perfect for entertaining on long summer days and well earned evenings, each with their own BBQ facilities.
Onsen style ensuite bathrooms blend practicality with comfort, whilst adjustable lighting configurations set the scene in these marble clad spaces. Expansive vanity mirrors and glass reflect the open and welcoming mood of the homes.
