The Phase 1 Commercial Development of Suzhou Qingtai International Industrial Design Culture Village is situated in the northwest corner of Qingtai Island, in the Xiangcheng district of Suzhou. To the south, the development connects via bridges to the Huqiu Wetland Park, a prominent natural reserve in Suzhou. The site is bordered by the picturesque Xitang River to the west and the significant Middle Ring North Line to the north. Additionally, a large-scale Suzhou Science Town is currently being planned and constructed to the north of Qingtai Island. This strategic location offers the perfect blend of urban vibrancy and Suzhou’s unique natural landscape and waterscape.
The Phase 1 Commercial Development boasts 14,000 square metres of meticulously curated on ground commercial space, showcasing premier industrial design and innovations. It features a network of thematic streets, an array of distinctive plazas, and a variety of urban elements and focal points, all designed to establish a timeless and inclusive destination, vibrant around the clock and throughout the years.
The Phase 1 Commercial Development is the inaugural component to be constructed and opened to the public within the expansive 300,000 square metre master plan of Suzhou Qingtai International Industrial Design Culture Village. Since its opening, the development has hosted numerous local and national cultural, design-related, and thematic commercial events.
