TAKA Apartment is a two-story apartment in one of the sleeping areas of Kyiv, which has become the embodiment of modern Ukrainian minimalism.
We worked on this project for two years and made sure that an expressive space is concise, a cozy space is functional, and a home is a point of intersection of all natural elements.
The layout of the apartment is quite simple and functional. On the first floor there is a living area combined with a kitchen and dining room, and a guest bedroom is hidden behind the corridor.
Panoramic windows and spacious rooms ensure that the apartment is filled with daylight during the day and starry sky at night.
The color scheme of the interior is based on earth. Shades with a taste of black earth can be read everywhere: from the light gray decorative plaster on the walls to the dazzling black bed in the bedroom.
The view of the Dnipro opens from the windows of the guest bedroom. The shores are so close that it seems as if blue waters have spilled over the walls of the apartment - this is how metal oxidized in a natural way looks.
