The rolling landscape of Podřipsko with views of the peaks of the Bohemian Central Highlands is the inspiration for the new terminal. The curve of the roof is a harmony of function and aesthetics, the dynamic and light mass refers to the high-speed trains and the surrounding landscape. Above all, the terminal is a rational transport structure, with easy orientation and short interchanges being a priority. The terminal is the centrepiece of the site, consisting of two identical parts connected by a pedestrian bridge with views of the tracks. The car parks are arranged radially for easy orientation and to shorten distances to the terminal. The ecological concept works with vegetation, rainwater and solar energy. The design includes a maintenance base for the high-speed railway.
