The Forty-Window villa is situated between two mountains, surrounded by a river and trees. It is situated in the north of Iran, on the outskirts of the city of Ramsar. The project's main goal is to construct a new expansion to a 70-year-old pavilion. In essence, the pavilion is a house with flexible spaces in a natural setting.
The fundamental purpose of this project is to create a connection between the ancient and modern pavilions, which makes sense when combined with a good relationship with nature. The terraces and the pattern of the roof of the old pavilion have created the architectural structure of the new building. Forty-window is a story of the doors and windows of the old pavilions which do not exist today. The Forty-Window villa is a frame with forty windows, each with a narrative to tell and all of which come from somewhere nearby.
The new building's roof is modeled after the original pavilion (is inspired by the old pavilion). This emphasizes the importance of the existing structure and its connection to the new addition.
The tree, the pool, the quiet background, the relaxing experience, and the definition of a safe and legible area in front of nature are the most important elements in this place.
