Rancho Mirage Community Park Amphitheater will become home to a dynamic, open air entertainment facility with addition of an amphitheater. The amphitheater will become a treasured community asset and cultural attraction comparable to the Palm Desert Amphitheater and the Redlands Bowl. The amphitheater will be a versatile facility well suited for showcasing a variety of performance types readily supporting their particular performance and infrastructure needs. It will be a venue capable of entertaining intimate crowds and comfortably accommodating larger ones in a natural setting protected by a sculptural overhead canopy and shade trees. The amphitheater is equipped with modest green rooms, secure storage, and convenience restrooms for the comfort of the performance groups. Performance related lighting and sound, surrounding developments, heat, wind, shade, orientation, topography, vegetation, view corridors, access, and myriad other environmental considerations were carefully considered in the integrated development of the Rancho Mirage Community Park Amphitheater
